About Me

My Journey

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Maryville University in 2022, with a concentration in Sustainability and a minor in Chemistry. During my undergraduate studies, I conducted research in Dr. Kyra Krakos' lab, focusing on Castilleja coccinea, a native plant species of Missouri. I went on to complete a Master’s degree in Data Science at Maryville University in 2024.

Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where I integrate my background in biology with advanced data analytics. I am a member of Dr. Jarrad Hampton-Marcell’s lab, where my research explores the relationship between the gut microbiome and estrogen circulation.

A little more about me...

In my free time I enjoy playing hockey, golf and running. I love to travel and enjoy all outdoor activities. I also have a cat named Cheeto.
